An increasing number of office workers are skipping the commute and leaving the break room behind. A recent report by the New York Times finds that more people are working remotely than ever before. Some 43 percent of us spend at least some time working from home. While a few companies seem to be bucking the trend — IBM and Yahoo! are now insisting that more of their workers come into the office— many employers and employees favor the option of working from home, citing the increase in flexibility and a boost in productivity.
